Vietnam has more than 3400 km of coastline, with infinite stretches of powdery sand, coves, lagoons, impossible boulder formations and tropical islands ringed with yet more beaches. 

  • Day 1: Welcome to Saigon (D)

    You’ll be warmly welcome at Saigon airport and transferred to hotel for check-in & tour briefing. This evening enjoy welcome dinner at one of the finest restaurants in Saigon. 

     

  • Day 2: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon (B)

    We begin today with a drive off the city to Cu Chi and explore the amazing tunnel system built by Communist guerillas during the Vietnam War. Known as the “Iron Triangle” during the war of the 60’s, the story of Cu Chi is one of struggle, determination against all odds, and eventual victory. Now the tunnels are a major site of interest for tourists and historians, and those interested in Vietnam’s military history. Return to town and visit Saigon’s best known sights such as the Reunification Palace, the War Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the French Post Office, Hotel De Ville, the city hall, Ben Thanh Market, etc. Some shopping may be a good idea to close the day. 

     

  • Day 3: Saigon - Vinh Long - Can Tho (B, L)

    This morning we journey to Vinh Long in the heart of the Mekong Delta, a world that lives and works on waters – a photographer’s paradise. We’ll make an exciting boat trip on the canals overhung by coconut palms, visit local workshops and sample delicacies of the region. After lunch in Binh Hoa Phuoc Island we proceed to Can Tho and enjoy an easy spin around this city to experience the waterfront at Ninh Kieu Quay, bustling, and exciting with Hau River life. 

     

  • Day 4: Can Tho - Chau Doc (B, L)

    Early this morning we make take a boat to the extraordinary river market of Cai Rang. Famous as one of the largest on the complex of waterways that comprise the Mekong Delta, this market provides fruits and vegetables for many countries.  The boat tour caps off at My Khanh, a genuine working delta village, and we drive to Chau Doc with some stops at villages of Khmer people. 

     

  • Day 5: Chau Doc to Saigon (B, L)

    This morning we enjoy another relaxing boat trip to a floating village and a Cham weaving village. We also visit Sam Mountain overlooking Cambodia, Lady Xu Temple, Tay An pagoda, then return to Saigon with lunch en route. 

     

  • Day 6: Saigon - Nha Trang / Phan Thiet / Phu Quoc / Condao (B)

    Transfer to the airport for a flight Nha Trang or Phu Quoc, to Phan Thiet by road. 

     

  • Days 7-10: Beach Leisure (B)

    Four days to pamper yourself 

     

  • Day 11: Departure (B)

    Free until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
